Instrument Slots
Two positions for Instrument Cards. Each card identifies itself to the Base and carries its own calibration record.
MCU
Runs Trellis Firmware and talks to your computer over USB-C.
Flex Port
Takes one Power Card.
Console Port
Takes a front panel, a display, or an application processor that runs its own interface.
Hardware stop
One stop line runs to every slot and port. A panel button, an external interlock or a card's own over-temperature trip can pull it, and cards that drive loads drop them in hardware, whatever the firmware is doing.
